Neighborhood group walk for you and your dog

Service Description
Join us for a 1-hour trainer-led walk where you and your dog can practice real-world training skills while being around other dogs in a calm and controlled environment. Pack walks are a great opportunity to build confidence, improve walking skills, and practice passive socialization around other dogs. All dogs are welcome! Whether your dog is shy, reactive, excitable, still working on their leash skills, or simply enjoys getting out for a walk, there is something for everyone. We do not allow on-leash greetings between dogs. Taking greetings off the table can make a huge difference for reactive and excitable dogs because they no longer feel like they need to pull, bark, or rush toward every dog they see. Instead, we focus on calm coexistence and teaching dogs that they can see other dogs without needing to interact with them. Passive socialization is about learning to be comfortable around other dogs without needing to meet them. The goal is neutrality: being able to calmly walk past and coexist with other dogs without feeling like they need to say hello or bark to create space. This is an important real-world skill that can make walks more enjoyable for both you and your dog. As we walk, feel free to ask your dog training questions and pick up tips you can use at home! Once you sign up, I’ll send you the meet-up location and additional details a day or two before the walk.
